Mandatory Favorite Final Fantasy Poll

It's time for the obligatory question that every single gamer needs to answer at least once in their life: What is your favorite Final Fantasy?

I selected other, and my choice is Final Fantasy Tactics (not Tactics Advanced, the original one for the PSX.) The game just had such an incredible story involving war, religion, betrayal, conspiracies, love, and everything you can imagine a great story should have. Combined with being one of the most replayable games ever made (the sheer amount of options you could have for characters and battles is infinite), and you've got a timeless classic.

VI was great. Not one of my favorites but it was a great game nonetheless. I rank my top five FFs like this:

Most people hated it because, you're right, they probably haven't played it. They judged it solely on the fact that you play as three scantily-clad girls. That's generally not what you think of when you talk about heroic RPG heroes. But the game had an awesome battle system, the Dresspheres were unique, and it was of course visually impressive.

It's that one small fact about three girls that no one likes.

Yeah. Exactly. Drew has only played a tiny bit of it. And hates it.
I would like him to actually play it though.
Paine's Songstress Dress Sphere was the best of all.
She looked like an Elvis rip off. Lmfao.

i don't pick favorites, i just play and love them in such a retardedly obsessive manner that i can never finish them. VII, IX, and X hold a special place in my lost mind, though

XII was cool. I liked them.
