About to solo FFXII with either Penelo or Fran.
I really like Fran. Hope we solo with her. She's cool. =]
[Me and Drew are doing it together.]

Good luck. Both are pretty average combat characters. Not going to be easy.

I solo'ed FFT with Ramza several times.

Lol. I didn't know you could solo in a tactics game. That would be terribly hard. Lol.

Not terribly hard with Ramza, he is wickedly OP once you get Yell.

Scream is really what makes him so phenomenal. But yeah, Ramza's definitely the easiest to solo FFT with.

The trick is knowing the scripted fights inside and out, so you know the exact movement patterns/attack patterns of the enemies (the named bosses, specifically), and what to be/equip for the fights.

Example: the fight with Wiegraf inside Riovanes is also a solo-fight for the first part no matter what. The easiest thing for that is to equip Chameleon Robes, which absorb Holy. Wiegraf's primary attack is now rendered useless.

(Yes, I've played the game far too many times).

Meh...I found Fran pretty weak; useless, even. Penelo was the caster, Basch as my tank, and Vaan as the main damage-dealer/back up healer. Great party.

I regret not using Balthier more; he's arguably the strongest character in the game.

You've only beaten approximately four games in your entire gaming life.

Yeah, but Fran is the coolest of all the characters. They rest annoy me. Other than Balthier. And if she IS the weakest, then it'll make it more challenging. =]

And snuggans, do you play Gears? Lol.

Yeah, scream is very good. However I found if you give Ramza the monk skills as a secondary skill set, he becomes an avatar of war. Able to infinitely heal himself, improve his speed and damage with scream (or yell/accumulate) with a flexible offense. Making him near impossible to kill, and a powerful damage dealer in both melee and range.

Ramza as a Squire with Punch Arts, Two Swords, Blade Grasp, and Teleport IS game over. Give him Excalibur and Ragnarok/Save The Queen. The game can't withstand that much awesome so it shuts itself off.

    No joke. -cough-

And the best part... It is easy to grind for all those skills with him.
