Street Fighter IV Empty Street Fighter IV

    Post by honey-ass Sun Feb 22, 2009 8:19 pm

Yep my husband had picked it up and we have been playing it for the last couple of days now.It is actually pretty good I enjoy it. I haven't played the arcade mode yet on it but Will has and he has had some difficulty even on easy. That's the bad part about it. Just shows how they have kept there cheapness even after all these years. I have gotten rusty with fighting games Embarassed so I most likely won't try the arcade mode yet until I become decent enough to not get my ass handed to me lol. I saw that you can actually change costumes now! I saw some of the costume changes though and they suck... They should take a hint on dead or alive with that stuff lol. So has anyone picked up the game?

I got it for PS3 and though I was no SF master in the first place even the easiest mode isn't quite...easy.
Seth is extremely cheap but otherwise the AI in Arcade is great, though I haven't gone online assuming i would be owned instantly. I don't think costumes were a top priority assuming this was made for arcades first and to resemble SFII which was all about the fighting.

Yeah Seth is very cheap from what I saw when Will played. Getting off throws when YOU just can't. The costumes really shouldn't have been added in I thought just a waste of points to get them. Well at least they give you the option to buy them or not.

Though I love Capcom and their games just like MM9 they'll never hesitate to nickel and dime you with downloads Razz
My favorite is when i grab Seth and the game pretends I did nothing and he instantly throws me instead.

Problem is if your rusty ith fighting games its going to be hard. Its like soul calibur, or early mortal kombat. You need to know the moves to win, you need to be able to know characters move, how to use and avoid. You need to get to know a character in practice mdoe before it becomes easy.

... I know how to pull off the moves just can't most of the time Sad I use the controller not the joystick which obviously leads to problems.. :/ Also it doesn't help That I am playing with a geek where wins are rare. I can beat him soul calibur though just fine but when it comes to street fighter not so much lol...
