I just don't like rap in general. Something about is just not right. I do listen to it at times, to try and figure out what about it rubs me the wrong way. However I'm still not entirely sure. At the moment I think it may be the whole rhyming while singing thing. However, I love rhyming in poetry so I'm not sure if that is the problem.

How odd. I don't care for rap much either but thats because there is usually no talent involved with rap... but I don't mind The FoTC rap because they are making fun of rap pretty much

Slapstick comedy isn't comedy for people over the age of ten.
Parodies can be funny, but they don't make me laugh out loud.
Stand Up is funny.
Punchline jokes are funny, but tbh mostly they aren't.

I've always viewed comedy as comedy... Never really saw much point in identifying different comedy forms. Always thought a joke is either funny or it is not.

I'm not a comedian, why should I consider differing styles. I can say though that I don't like humor that involve people willingly hurting them selves or being stupid. So whatever human jackass and american pie is I don't like.

You don't have to be a comedian to know the styles obviously. I am sure as hell not funny or a comedian.
