Left 4 Dead

So it's fun... But I've decided that I don't really like it.
Mainly because there is no story line.
There is nothing to look forward to at the end of the game except an escape scene.
And none of the characters have any personality except for the black guy...
And that's only because of his one line when he picks up Pain Pills.
"Grabbin' some pills."
It's alright gameplay. But I wish they put more THOUGHT into it.
It's just mindless killing.
Eh, a guys game I suppose.

Nha, the game appeals to a specific crowd. I also love a story more than anything in a game, especially for an RPG. But for this type of game I can forgive the lack of one mainly because the AI Director allows for a totally unique and constantly changing environment every single time you play the game. It's really an unprecedented feat in video gaming that no other has ever achieved before. It may be a short, simple game, but that simplicity is what makes the game even more fun.

You don't have to be amazing to have fun in it. It's fun regardless.

This is true. I do like that. I love the gameplay in it. I really do. But I mean, you never even find out where the hell they are even escaping to. I mean, where exactly are they going that they can be protected by from a zombie hoard?

Most zombies like to hang out at the mall, sometimes roam the streets looking for brains. The usual.

I noticed the mall is a very popular place for zombies.

The PC version of Left 4 Dead (which is the one I have) is getting a user-created map pretty soon inspired by Dawn of the Dead. I think someone's making a Dead Rising map, too. I'm fucking excited.

Ha ha. Cool. We of course have the Xbox version.

Yeah everyone of the characters does have a personality in the game you just got to listen to what they say... when you played it with us they didn't say much and we were killing way too many special infected but that is because Will set up the game and since he has played the game sooo many fookin times the characters don't say much because there is nothing left to be said. But Francis is my favorite in the game he hates everything and he even makes a reference to a movie when he picks up a shotgun and says "Groovy" (Crystal you should know which one I am talking about)

Yeah. It was pretty sad. In one part we didn't even leave the safe room... They got us while in there.

How is that possible?! You have to spawn somewhere away from the people in order to play or else they won't let you spawn! o.O they cheated!

We opened the door. It's just the hordes of zombies destroyed us before we even left. I would try to help someone up, and then even more poured in. It was not fair at all. And when they played they didn't encounter any zombies at like, all. It was like me and Drew were the only two zombies in the game.

They cheated!

Mhm. So we got pissed and haven't played since. =P Then again, that was only this morning.
