Upcoming Games To Look Forward To

So 2008 is gone; dead and buried like Jack Thompson's legal career. A slew of AAA titles graced our presence, but it was only just the beginning. 2009 is looking to be another knock-out year for gamers, and among the major titles coming out within the next 12 months, possibly the most widely-anticipated is Resident Evil 5.

Not for me, though. No, instead, I've got my own tastes to cater to rather than to feed into the enticement of the hype machine. Instead, I'm looking forward to the obscure, the mysterious, and the distant.

Whatever 2009 brings, I'm sure most of it will be good. But what I HOPE arrives in this ninth millennial year are the following games:

Half-Life 2: Episode Three, Sadness, Alan Wake, and the next Shin Megami Tensei proper game.

Other games I'm looking forward to that ARE coming out this year are:

Demigod, Madworld, The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, Ghostbusters, Killzone 2, Dark Void, Dragon Age: Origins, and Star Ocean: The Last Hope.

I've been playing a lot of Warcraft III lately because I'm waiting for Starcraft II to come out. That's going to be a killer time.

I'm still debating whether or not I went to give my money to Blizzard's grubby paws. What kind of shit is splitting Starcraft II's campaign into THREE separate games? No one gives a damn about the campaign in an RTS- people just want online. So what the hell, Blizzard?

True, they've got some of their shit backwards, no doubt, but they make damn good games. I gave up hope for Diablo III long ago and now it's actually coming. I spend way too much time playing Blizzards damn addicting games.

Hah, I'm the opposite. I play RTS for the single player stories, since most of them are micro-managing click fests that just annoy me, so I avoid the online part.

AFAIK, you will still be able to play as the three races on multiplayer, you'll just get the one singleplayer campaign of whatever version you buy.


as for the games i'm looking forward to, i'd definitely say Final Fantasy XIII but now it looks like it's definitely a 2010 release for the translated version.

I agree with nearly everythig on your list. A few of them IDK ill check em out, but most of them games i know and want to get when released.
