The Meeting

"Mhm."

"I think we should actually be there soon Sir so long as another wave does not come at us... I am going to have to find out why the Locusts seem to know where we are going." I become silent for second and start running.

"Hey! Wait up!" I yell and stumble in my armor I am not used to yet.

I run back to you and look you in the eyes... I hold out my hand.

I look up at you and stick out my tongue. I grab your hand and blush.

I squeeze your hand pull you into me and haul you over my shoulder.
"Sorry Sir but we have no time. If I am correct we might not make it."

"Wait! What?" I kick my legs out as you begin to run. "Make what?"

I stay silent so I don't get winded. I run for an hour(he runs really fast) till we can see smoke in the distance. I let you down.
"Just as I thought we might not have made it. It would seem the locust knew where we were heading and already attacked base."

I look back at what you were talking about. I feel woosey, like I am about to puke. And sure enough, do.

I look at you and fidget a little trying to decide if I should worry about you or just start heading towards the smoking base. I hand you a bottle of water.
"Did I shake you too much?"

"I'm... fine." I say wiping the tears from my eyes. I stand up, feeling better after the puke. I take a sip of water and gargle with it. "Now lets go. Can't just be standing around like this."

"Are you able to run the rest of the way?"

I grab at my head with a minor head ache and nod. "Let's go."

I run towards the smoking base.

We slide down the hill and jump over to the bridge.
I see a dead soldier on the side of the building. I grab his COG tags and his Lancer.
"We'll avenge you, I swear." I say under my breath.

From the shadows of the outskirts of town I observe the two mysterious beings that are so like myself yet different. Having discovered them while searching for food, in their haste they apparently failed to notice me following them.

Their destination was something I had never seen before, and made my instincts scream to put distance from it. The air was filled with sent of death, and that ever looming sent that burned the senses. By all my knowledge and reason I should run. Yet something held me back.

Is it possible that there are others like me? Am I not the only of my kind. The hope of such a thought brought form emotions that quelled by instincts to run. However the direction they headed had terrain that was unfamiliar to myself. Being unfamiliar I would be unable to effectively hide my presence.

Despite the uncertainty of their approval, I decided to follow in this unknown territory. Revealing myself as I left the land I had confidence in. Walking cautiously toward the one who seemed to be pining over a corpse that appeared not much different from their own body... Not much different from my own.

Being reveled my hair brown and blond having been bleached from the sun. My skin a healthy bronze cover in scars. My eyes green with a feral intelligence behind them. My clothing very different from these mysterious yet familiar beings. Mine being made of leather darkened to better hide and the land scape and much lighter then their armor.

To my left side, hung a crudely sharpened rapier sheathed in a equally crude leather.

Pointing at my self I tried to form words that have not been spoken in a very long time "Vel"

(urgh this is going to be tough trying to teach you the gears world....)
I point my pistol at you.
"What happened here?"
I look you over and lower my pistol.
"I don't have time to waste on you. Sir I suggest we no longer delay with such meaningless rituals let us move forward."
I continue on without concerning myself with the new recruit.

I nod, feeling happy that I have been welcomed among them.
"Understood, boss." I reply words still unfamiliar on my tongue.
I follow the lead of the woman who appears to be the leader.

[I'm the leader. Lol.]
We climb up the broken bride into base.
I keep my Lancer drawn and wait for you two to climb the rubble.
"What the hell happened here?" I turn and smile at the new man and turn around. I try to keep myself from conversing as I've realized I so love to do. I know I would get yelled at by Tear and we're short on time as it is.

(yes B is the leader but her character doesn't act like it lol. So mine takes role Also B my name is Tears. Rain was Alex! )
I climb up next beside Cherri
"If my assumptions are correct the Locust is what happened here. No need for further disccussion on that. We should try and find some communication device in order to get in touch with another base. I want to deliver you Sir safe and sound."

Well, there isn't really a safe place to deliver anything." I say looking at base.

[Aye I made the observation that Alex was the one acts as the leader according to the behavior of your characters at the time mine joined.]

I stay in the flank of the group, in order to protect our weak point.

"I'm not sure what happened here, I followed you two here."
Uncomfortably I place my hand on my swords hilt.
"I'm unfamiliar with your weapons and these locust you speak of."
Yet, considering the situation I better be a fast learner.

I scoff at Vel.
"For one so close to the base your knowledge of it is nonexistent."
I glance at Vel for only a second
"Makes you useless."

Places hand on his fore head with shame.
"I'm not really from around here, I wondered here in search of food. The game has been getting scarce as of late."
Looks around the corpses for proper clothing and weapons.
"I don't plan to stay useless at the vary least."

"I hope you know how to fire a gun? Otherwise I will not tolerate dragging you along."
