The Meeting

I unload almost two mags into the grinder before he finally collapses to the ground and makes the death gurgle. I breath in a deep sigh and ask, "Are you alright?"

"Yes." I breath a sigh of relief. "You saved me. Thank you." I hug you.

I stand there shocked unable to move while you hug me. I speak in a whispered voice, "Sir...?" I break your hug and I am blushing. I turn away and try to hide my blushing face.
"I... Sir we must proceed. We never know when another wave might come at us."

I cough into my hand once more.
"Sorry. I didn't mean to... Just a little, happy to be alive." I laugh and start ahead.
"Let's head over to the hole."
[You're such a cute anime boy. We got this tv romance thing down. xD]

I follow behind. "Sir can you debrief me? What was your task here?" (LOL XD thanks I am trying to get how I want him to be but it seems he is falling from my grasp already. It's difficult when you have to go with the flow. ;p We would make a great couple! You the outgoing girl and me the shy guy aah for some reason I love couples like that in fiction)

"Well, I was told to come down and figure out what the Locust were doing while torturing people and stop them." I look up at the hole we finally get under and stop in front of the wall. "We hadn't even come close to finding anything before my team was destroyed. I wish to get vengeance for them."

(lol yes we are!) I look at you emotionless, "I understand your thoughts but Sir do not lose your head. If you do so I have authorization to take over and we will abort this mission and proceed back to headquaters."

"Ah ha ha ha. They know me so well up there." I grab the wall and start climbing. "Hurry up slow poke." I say as I climb up the rocks to the light.

I climb up after you. With a lost gaze in my eyes.

Reaching the top I realize that it's not the surface, but another room. Lit by torches. It looked more like a hallway leading somewhere else. I wait for you to get up.

I make to where you are. I look around, "It seems that this leads into the locust home. Shall we move forward sir?

"Uhhh... " I look around. "Sure. But which way do you think we should go? Left or right?"

I look both ways Left descends and is lit up by torchs Right leads up and is dark. I look at you, "Right seems more safe."

"Well then, left it is then!" I start walking down the hallway.

(XD I knew it!) I look surprised "Do you really think that is wise?"
I look at you walking away I sigh and follow behind.

We reach the end of the hallway and I take a look around. Yet again, two paths. "Lefts make it another left!" I say excited. I press my body against the wall. I hear a grunting. "What is that?" I usher you over to me.

I walk over to you and hear the grunts I take cover. "Stay there."
I take out a frag.

I duck down and try to be quiet.

I throw the frag to where the grunts came from (his sense is that good!) We hear a locust yell in it's gruntled voice 'Frag!' and it goes off. A bit of crumble falls down but not enough to make us wary. I take a peek around the corner to see if there are Locust still alive. Gunfire shoots at me. I quickly withdraw my face. I hold my pistol down with my right hand and ready to advance but before I move I look at you and with my left hand I single that there are four still alive two on each side. "Cover me." I say and I move forward out in the open.

"Cover you?! What?! Why don't we just run?!" Tears run down my eyes and I whine. Then I get serious. I take out Snippy. [That's my name for my Sniper] I hold it out of the side of the wall and hold it steady. "Ready, Aim, FIRE!" Two head shots in a row, one bullet. "Ha ha!"

I shoot down the two locust on my side. But I still keep my gaurd up just in case. I walk over to you and see that there is bits of dust and rock in your hair I move in closer to you and touch your hair. I take out the few small pieces of rubble that are in your hair. I stare deeply into your eyes. "Sir.... "

"Ye, yes?"

I lean in closer and touch your face "You were not hurt?" I blush and turn away. "I mean your face is all dirty Sir."

"Oh. Well, it's fine. I mean, I'm fine." I smile.

"Good then lead the way."
