Star Ocean: The Last Hope

I just can not wait for a new magik user.

Um where are you know? It might be awhile before you get another one.

It's a sweet thing killing a boss with 100% exp on the bonus board and getting 126k experience.

This game is way too easy for a Star Ocean. The bonus board just feels like hand-holding throughout the whole thing.

Game finished. Predictable ending, annoyingly-high-health-final-boss (easy, but 5 million hp. Fuck you tri-Ace, seriously).

Hmmmm I need to finish the game...

Hell, I'm still on disc one.

I am still at the part after the stupid cheap boss :/

Took me 46 hours. Not that long. Most of it was useless dungeon grindan and bullshit quests.

Finished the game at level 74 with Edge. Myuria, Arumat, and Sarah was my party. EZ mode commence.

Best healer/support in the game.

She learns all the support skills, plus four basic healing spells (two single-target and two group), and two resurrection spells, as well as Cure condition.

She also has naturally high MP and also learns some decent offensive magic.

I always have a person dedicated to healing in the Star Ocean games.

The game wasn't exceptionally difficult that it needed a dedicated healer. Any of the characters that just learn the basic healing spell, and a fully-stocked item supply could've gotten through 80% of the game.

But the last boss hits in massively-wide area of effects, so group healing is a must. Besides that, the other party members were just unremarkable.

Sarah, Myuria, Arumat, and Edge is arguably the best set-up. Brilliant physical offensive from Arumat and Edge, the best healing from Sarah, and amazing magic from Myuria with some impressive spells from Arumat and Sarah as well.

My Edge with HP Boost at rank 10 had 30k+ HP at 74, and had Critical Boost at rank 10 as well so he hit like a beast.

I usually like someone who has the heal spell but I don't care if they are healers...

Everyone can learn Heal in this game though.

White Mages are superior to Red Mages.

That was my argument when I played FFXI, but it holds true; why have a class that can only half-ass use various types of spells, when I can just get a class that fully specializes in a particular art and uses it to the best of their abilities?

Trust me, use Sarah.

But I hate Sarah. Also I usually never have to heal and if I do want to it's usually so the HP doesn't fall into the yellow. If it does fall farther then that then items are used... and since in this game all you have to do is fight to aquire such healing items no need for a full time healer that I would hate to use.

Yet. But Sarah's value is beyond priceless. No one else's heals can come close to hers on disc 3.
